Experience Puerto Rico On The Fly

My name is Tommy Fleming and I am a full time USCG licensed captain and fishing guide right here in beautiful Puerto Rico. Originally from Upstate New York, I have been fishing these waters since 2014 and moved to the island in 2022 to further explore the fishery and all of its options. 

I have been fishing all my life and really discovered  salt water fly fishing in my early 20s. I knew it was game over for me. I’ve been lucky to fish all over the Caribbean and the world and trust me, there is nothing cooler than spotting, casting to, and hooking a salt water fish with the fly rod, and Puerto Rico is one of the best places I’ve found to do so!

In addition to PR, I spend a few months in the summer guiding in Bristol Bay, Alaska. This variety has helped me learn to successfully fish with fisherman of all experience levels.

4 or 6 hour tarpon trips in our lagoons are the best bang for buck fishing trip that you can find in the Caribbean. Whether you are a beginner or experienced fly angler, this is the best and most reliable place to catch your first or thousandth tarpon on fly!

In addition to the half day options, we also offer full day and multi day trips as well. These trips are a little more weather-dependent and usually involve trailering the skiff to different parts of the island based on what we want to do for the day. Species targeted on these trips include tarpon, permit, snook, jacks and barracuda.
